Praise The Lord Saints:
I would like to give God the Praise for keeping me as I go to school, and for protecting me as I travel on the highways; with all the accidents that I see, I thank God it wasn't me. I thank the Lord for being baptized in Jesus name. Thank the Lord for helping me through all the hard times I have had in my life. I thank the Lord for my natural family as well as my church family. Thank the Lord for helping me to make good grades in school.

Sister Rinesha Finklea
Praise the Lord,
In 1984 we were introduced to the Apostolic doctrine through home Bible study. We were taught according to Acts 2:38 that we were to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and be filled with the Holy Ghost. After hearing the word we were baptized and God filled us with the Holy Ghost.
We then witnessed to my sister and her husband, Brother and Sister Wells, and they repented and were baptized in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. They lived in Columbia and traveled to Bishopville where we all attended services at another Apostolic church. This particular Sunday they were running late and knew they would not be on time for service. Sis. Wells remembered hearing about the Progressive Church in Hopkins, South Carolina and started attending services there. God blessed them and filled them with the Holy Ghost, and Brother and Sister Wells continued in the Progressive Church.
We continued in the teachings and about five years later the church that we attended folded. We then started attending another Apostolic church, enjoying the word of God being preached, praising God, and fellowshipping with the saints, believing that we were following the Apostolic doctrine in it's entirety. We thank God that he blessed our sister to witness to us about the truth according to the scriptures in I. Timothy 2:12, and after she witnessed to us we thank God for opening our hearts and we didn't harden our hearts against the Word; we accepted the invitation to visit the Progressive Church in Sumter, South Carolina. We thank God for the truth that was preached and taught there and is still being preached and taught through our Pastor, Elder Ricky Finklea. We praise and thank the Lord for where he has brought us; how he has brought us and we are asking him to keep us continuing steadfastly in the Apostles' doctrine.
