Sister Celestine Boone

1. Corinthians 9:16- "For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!"

Sister Celestine Boone is from Lynchburg, SC. Sis. Boone along with her husband (Bro. Edward Boone) started attending the Progressive Church, Sumter, SC in 1993 and continues to fellowship and worship here. Sis. Boone has been saved for twenty (20) years. She often thanks and praise God for bringing her through many trials and tribulations, giving her a mind to stand, and for keeping her when this church assembly went through its testing times. God has let her know that he is a keeper.

Sister Boone is currently serving as Vice- President of the local Women's Auxiliary Board and also serves as one of the teachers. She is employed with tthe Department of Mental Health (DMH) at the Bishopville TLC Houses as a CNA.
